Welcome to our website! Whether you are in the midst of planning a
special event or are interested in my services, I hope you find some helpful tips
and inspiration in these pages. Click on any photo to enlarge. Please look
around and let me know what you think.

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Lisa Mason and I started
FlowerWorks in 1995 as a floral service specializing in weddings, parties and
special occasions. After spending 5 years working in local full- service shops
as a designer and sales consultant, along with taking professional design
classes and college business courses, it was time to strike out on my own.
Call me a "control-freak", but it became extremely important to be involved in
the client's floral experience from beginning to end. Getting to know my clients
makes it possible to create unique and personal displays.

Flowers add a special touch to life's celebrations. Flowers are some of nature's
most beautiful gifts and I am still left speechless when discovering a new variety of roses, watching a lily open, or smelling a fragrant bunch of freesia. I
am blessed to be able to work in an industry that is fun and creative. It is very rewarding to be able to bring happiness and delight to the recipient of a
meaningful floral presentation.

It is the client's vision that inspires me. My own personal style?
Well, I am fond of all styles! Each has their own charm and significance. My
first priorities include choosing premium flowers, employing proper care and
handling, and using professional design techniques. With all of those in
place, style possibilities are limitless. What do you like? Bold and dramatic
blooms, or perhaps the flowers your Grandmother has growing in her garden?
What time of year is your event and where will it be held? What is your color
scheme? Together with my clients, we are able to come up with some
fabulous decorations. Are you creatively-challenged? (Or as my cousin puts it,
"craft-impaired".) I bet not. We are all artists in our own way. The key is finding out the mood you'd like to evoke and we'll start from there!

Thank you to all the brides and grooms, families, friends and fellow wedding
professionals that I have had the opportunity to work with in the past. I am
always so grateful to be entrusted with such significant events!
